Tomorrow I have my 4D Anatomy scan and because I’m me, I’m nervous. When you’ve suffered three miscarriages, every appt, I’m fearing those dreadful words. “There’s no heartbeat.” I am 18 weeks and have had nothing but good reports thus far.  So I know the devil is trying to put fear in my mind to make me doubt myself, my faith, and my journey with God.  I have got to be still because God is present to help.  In our times of trials God is the very present help!  God is right there to take care of our needs.  So I’ve got to stop fearing, worrying about things I can’t control.  Things that only God can control.  I’m not going to focus on the fear, I am going to focus on the one who can fix my situation.  The one who can give me peace.  Who better to give me peace than the Prince of Peace himself!

Sometimes we get worked up when we look at what we are dealing with . We panic before we pray. We stress before we pray. We jump to conclusions instead of seeking God. I just want to encourage you to be still. The storm may rage. The winds may blow. The boat may rock hard but you just be still and know that He is God! What does that mean?? That means that you believe He is God enough to handle your situation! He has proven that time and time again. He is present help, you just have to be still.

God sent his one and only son to physically die on the cross for us.  He then rose him from the dead after THREE DAYS!  If God can do that do you think he can take away your fears?  Do you think he can open doors for you?  Absolutely. Don’t ever think your issue, problem, worry is too big or too small for our God. He created light in one breath. He SPOKE it into existence. He can also stall you for a split second at a stop light so that you miss the car that runs the light and would have slammed in to you. It has personally happened to me before.  There is no issue too big or too small for our amazing creator.  So trust in him, pray to him, and be still.
