I recently went to a concert. Hillsong, Elevation Worship, and Casting Crowns. To be in a huge arena, with thousands of people, all worshiping our creator was such a powerful experience. If you’ve never felt the presence of the Lord, GO TO A CHRISTIAN CONCERT! There was no doubt in my mind that the Lord was with us in that huge arena. An arena full of sinners. Some liars, some racist, some thieves. Possibly some adulterous, alcoholics, or some drug addicts. A room full of people who are unworthy, yet wanted in the eyes of the Lord.
Jesus came to this earth not for those who think they are righteous, but those that know they are sinners. Because of the amazing, unconditional love of God our Father we are considered worthy and wanted. He knows us. Deep down. The darkest parts of our souls and STILL finds of worthy, worth fighting for. Worth sacrificing his own son for us.
So many people are lost and afraid to go to church or believe in something so wonderful because they don’t believe in them-self. They don’t feel as if they deserve the kind of love that God gives. But you do. Everyone one of us. No matter the sex, race, your political beliefs, history or background has any effect on Gods love for us. It is unconditional. It is eternal. It is powerful. And it’s waiting for you. You may be feeling unworthy, but know that you are wanted.
